The City of Hermantown provides this calendar to show not only what is happening at City Hall and in the Governmental Services Building, but also to highlight various community-focused events.

Park Board

Hermantown’s Park Board is responsible for the maintenance, beautification, and care for all municipal park properties. The Park Board reports all activities to the City Council and can perform additional functions assigned by the City Council through resolution.

Planning & Zoning Commission

Hermantown’s Planning and Zoning Commission is responsible to hear and review a variety of permits and developments, as well as zoning ordinance matters. The Planning and Zoning Commission makes important recommendations to Hermantown’s City Council, but does approve Commercial Industrial Development Permits (CIDPs). 

Utility Commission Meeting

Hermantown’s Utility Commission manages the water, sewer, and stormwater utilities, while also being responsible for making recommendations to the City Council regarding utility rates and improvements to be constructed and financed.
