Hermantown’s Board of Appeals and Adjustments is responsible for hearing and deciding upon administrative appeals and variances. This board also establishes applications, checklists, and procedures to assist in the matters handled by the Board of Appeals and Adjustments. The City Council may delegate additional functions to this board through resolution.

 

The Board of Appeals and Adjustments is composed of Joe Peterson (Chair), Michael Boese, James Nelson, Cyndy Reno, and Gerald Wallace. City Councilor Gloria Nelson is the liaison for this board. 

The Board of Appeals and Adjustments meets only when there is an application for appeal or adjustment. When there is an application, the board meets the second Tuesday of the month at 5:00 p.m.
