On behalf of the Hermantown Police Department, I welcome you to our site.

Department:

The City of Hermantown Police Department was created in 1976. Hermantown is a city located in St. Louis County and borders the City of Duluth. The Police Department is dedicated to the protection of the city, as well as loyalty to the community. 

The Hermantown Police Department consists of twelve sworn Police Officers; one Chief of Police, one Deputy Chief, one Sergeant, one School Police Liaison/DARE Officer, one Lake Superior Drug/Gang Task Force Officer, one K-9 Officer, and six Patrol Officers. We also have two full-time and one part-time clerical staff. The city has police coverage 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, where our patrol officers currently work 12 hour rotating shifts.

The City of Hermantown consists of approximately 34.3 square miles with a population of 9,526 residents.
