Basic Pump Operations Class On June 5th & 6th, 2010 the Hermantown Volunteer Fire Department Hosted a Basic Pump Operations Class at Hall 1 with instruction from Lake Superior College ERTC. The purpose of the class was to provide instruction to new members in the department on how to run the fire pumps on the engines to supply water to hose teams at a fire scene. The class also served as a refresher for members who have already taken the class. Several members of the Proctor and Solway Fire Departments also attended the class.
