ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Public Safety Expo is back for its eleventh year and it continues to improve! This year’s Expo is scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hermantown Public Safety Facility, located at 5111 Maple Grove Road in Hermantown, MN.
This event features more than 30 different agencies from across the Arrowhead Region specializing in the fields of law enforcement, corrections, search & rescue, emergency medicine, emergency communications, and education. Participant displays include
tactical equipment demonstrations, informational programs, picture boards, and novelty giveaways, as well as the distribution of pamphlets, postings, and applications

CrimeMapping
CrimeMapping.com is a web-based program that documents crimes reported in certain communities. These crimes are plotted on a web-based map, where the location, time, date, and type of crime are displayed. Citizens can enter their address on the website and receive incident alerts for that area. CrimeMapping is an easy tool for Hermantown residents to keep track of 15 types of crimes occurring in the area.
