Patrol

The Hermantown Police Department consists of 2(two) Sergeants, 1(one) K-9 Officer, and 7(seven) Patrol Officers. Officers are the first ones to respond to all types of 911 calls for service. Officers are responsible for taking the initial 911 complaint, collecting evidence, interviewing subjects, conducting follow-up investigations, and providing proactive patrol (traffic enforcement, presentations, business checks, etc.). Officers work 12 hour rotating shifts and provide 24 hour/day – 7 days/week police coverage for the City of Hermantown.

The Hermantown Patrol Division responds to approximately 7,077 calls for service each year.
