The City Council usually meets on the first and third Monday of each month, excluding holidays.

PUBLIC DISCUSSION

 Listed under each Hermantown City Council agenda there is a section outlined as “Public Discussion.” The Public Discussion part of the agenda is reserved agenda time when citizens can bring forth any subject matter on or outside the subjects listed on the agenda which they wish to discuss. City staff encourages those citizens wishing to speak contact the City Clerk at (218) 729-3600 to be placed on the agenda but this step is not necessary to speak under Public Discussion. All Hermantown City Council meetings are governed by the parliamentary procedures noted as “Robert’s Rules of Order.” The Hermantown City Council also has adopted a general rule of three minutes per person for all presentations.
