The goal of Hermantown’s City Clerk is to provide convenient and independent ways for citizens to participate in overall governance by voting and participating in public hearings in front of the City Council. We practice leadership by being approachable, open minded, and looking toward the future as we set a clear vision and strategy so that our residents can participate in government conveniently so that they can exercise their strong and important voice in the community.

The role of the City Clerk in local government is incredibly important. From records requests to coordinating the efforts of the City staff and elected officials, Hermantown has been lucky to have had high quality City Clerks since before it was a city.
